Father-Son Camp-out October 10-12

Here are the details from Mark Stephenson of the KC church:

Some people will arrive early on Friday to reserve the spots. You can come out Friday evening or Saturday morning. I will have snacks for Friday but not dinner; you're on your own for that night.

Meals will be provided for

• Saturday: breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack

• Sunday: breakfast

Cost is $10.00 per person.

We will have activities, lessons, and free time. I will have some extra fishing poles if needed. You are welcome to bring your own.

Things you need to bring:

• Signed waiver (see below)

• Tent

• Sleeping bags

• Clothes for camping

• Flashlight

• Bibles

• Extra food or drink you may want

If you need help with anything please let me know. Also, tell me if you are planning on going so I can prepare food.

WHERE:

Woodridge Primative Campground, 1298 E 350th Rd, Berryton, KS 66409
West side of Clinton Lake in Lawrence

Directions from KC:
Take K-10 WEST through Lawrence to IOWA Street (59 Hwy).
Turn LEFT on Iowa and head SOUTH to N 1200 Road.
Turn RIGHT and head WEST on N 1200 Road as it meanders around and crosses Clinton Lake twice, changes names a couple of times, and becomes E 250th Road.
Continue to N 1250 Road (gravel).
Turn RIGHT and head EAST on N 1250 Road.
Turn LEFT and head NORTH on E 350 Road.
Campground is on the RIGHT.

There is a 4.5 mile hiking trail, fresh water, trash bin, fire rings, picnic tables, and a new outhouse. Plenty of parking and level mowed area. We need to arrive as EARLY AS POSSIBLE on Friday to hold the spots.
